Agrovista UK Ltd, the leading agronomy specialist, crop protection and amenity product distributor has announced its expansion in horticulture, and it’s entry to the glasshouse, ornamental and salad markets. Two new members have joined the team to specialise in these areas and to compliment and work with the other members of the horticultural team.
Michael Bannister and Roger Beard have joined from within the industry and will work within Agrovista’s vegetable and fruit agronomy business and will be based within the existing team.
Michael joins Agrovista with over 26 years extensive experience in glasshouse and
salad production, from agronomics through to produce marketing. For the last 25
years he has been involved in agronomy, irrigation and production systems for Monro South. He will be based near Maidstone in Kent.
Roger also joins from Monro South, and has 25 years experience in glasshouse crop production, involved in all aspects of agronomy and product choice, growing systems and management to growers. He specialises in salad crop production and is based near the Lea Valley in Essex.
