Primera Technology Europe is presenting its new FX1200e Digital Finishing System at the Labelexpo Europe. The event is being held from Sept. 28 – Oct. 1, 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. Primera’s booth is located at stand 9F72.
Two years ago, Primera entered the digital label printer market by introducing its CX1200e Color Label Press. CX1200e is the perfect solution for service bureaus and a broad range of manufacturers who need to print from just a few labels to tens of thousands of labels at a time. In combination with the new FX1200e Digital Finishing Solution Primera is introducing a complete digital label production solution.
The FX1200e offers, in one single process, the ability to laminate, die cut, slit, rewind and remove the waste matrix. Finishing speeds of up to 6.1 metres per minute are accomplished with Primera’s patent-pending exclusive QuadraCut™ technology. QuadraCut uses up to four knife blades at a time across the web. This feature dramatically increases throughput compared to systems that have just a single blade. It’s possible to create almost any shape or size from various pressure-sensitive substrates.
Just in time for the show Primera announced major software and firmware updates to both machines, making them even more user-friendly than before.
